κήρυγμα, ατος, τό (s. κηρύσσω and next entry)① an official announcement, proclamation, of the content of a herald’s proclamation (so Soph., Hdt.+; ins, PPetr III, 125, 9; PHamb 29, 10; LXX; Philo, Agr. 117 al.; Jos., Ant. 10, 236) of a call to assemble κηρύγματι καλεῖν call together by a proclamation B 12:6.
